The Conference on Canadian Stewardship (CCS) is where industry and government come together to discuss current and topical issues affecting product stewardship in Canada. This is an “industry-led” biennial event where companies who financially contribute for the managing of their end-of-life products, and the organizations that operate stewardship programs can actively participate in a lively forum dedicated to their interests.
The Recycling Council of Alberta (RCA) promotes and facilitates waste reduction, recycling and resource conservation in the Province of Alberta. RCA organizes an annual waste reduction conference that provides valuable educational and networking opportunities. This year, CCS and RCA teamed up to bring you a joint conference, themed “Under the Big Top”, to be held from September 30 to October 2, 2015 at The Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel. Over 500 delegates are expected to attend this year’s event.

The RCA hires a group of university/college students each year to carry out important education and technical projects from May through August. The students travel throughout Alberta delivering these projects, while gaining valuable experience that assists them in their education and career pursuits. Read More
