2006 Nature Canada Conference: Adapting to Alberta ... Naturally

Red Deer River Naturalists

In celebration of its 100th anniversary, the Red Deer River Naturalists are hosting the 2006 Nature Canada conference from July 6th - 9th in Red Deer at the Black Knight Inn. The theme is "Adapting to Alberta ... Naturally," based on the understanding that biodiversity is sustained by species that have adapted their physiology and their behaviour to claim their own niche in the ecosystems they share.

Conference sessions and field trips will look at the fascinating way plants and animals have, over eons, adapted to the changing natural conditions in Alberta. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Full details on all aspects of the conference can be found at www.rdrn.fanweb.ca.
