<p>A lecture by <a href="http://www.sociology.uoguelph.ca/faculty_staff/lynn_mcdonald.htm">Dr. Lynn McDonald </a><br />Deparment of Sociology<br />University of Guelph</p><p>Opening remarks by:</p><p>Dr. Mary Griffiths<br />Senior Policy Analyst<br /><a href="http://www.pembina.org">The Pembina Institute</a></p><p>Lynn McDonald will address how our political and social (including economic) lives prevent us from dealing adequately with today's climate crisis, to begin the process of altering those institutions to facilitate the required strenuous action. </p><p>Lynn has published extensively on environmental and political sociology, classical sociological theory, and the status of women.
