U of A EcoHouse Open Day & Presentation

Built in 1926, the house is retrofitted with green building features including the use of recycled building materials, an earth tubes ventilation system, solar water heating, and low-flush and low-flow water fixtures (most installed between 1999 and 2001). The garden has recently been naturalised using native prairie species.</p><p>All are welcome this Wednesday (November 7<sup>th</sup>) to come on a guided tour of the house and hear some helpful introductory tips on living a greener lifestyle in Edmonton.
