The sessions will include presentations on:

  • Key technology and policy needs;
  • Emerging economic and environmental opportunities;
  • Technology gaps and the most pressing needs for development and demonstration;
  • Barriers to market acceptance;
  • SDTC funding priorities and opportunities to leverage SDTC support.

Sessions will be based on SDTC’s SD Business Case™, a new set of reports developed through two years of consultations and collaboration with industry leaders. The reports outline SDTC’s model for investment decision-making in renewable fuels and upstream oil & gas. Presentations will be delivered by Dr. Vicky J. Sharpe, President and CEO of SDTC, and Rick Whittaker, Vice President, Investments. A question and answer session and discussion will follow the presentations. Partnering With SDTC In addition to highlighting the results of the SD Business Case studies, the presentations will outline SDTC’s focus and methodology for future funding decisions, and how SDTC can fit with your organization’s plans. This includes linkages between the studies’ findings and federal government strategies for sustainable energy, clean air and climate change.
