Alberta Talks, a program of the Alberta Environmental Network (AEN), seeks Grassroots Campaign Coordinators (GCC) to join our highly motivated, dynamic campaign team. The ideal candidate for the Alberta Talks GCC role is someone with strong organizational skills, who is adept at engaging volunteers, takes initiative and is passionate about environmental and social justice. 

In this key campaign role, the GCC is responsible for onboarding & organizing volunteers, providing excellent services to supporters and creatively & efficiently promoting the campaign in their city’s / area’s communities.  The GCC is integrated with the campaign team to develop, assess and adapt campaign strategies and tactics. 

This position supports Alberta Talks’ newest Tell Danielle campaign, which aims to build a province where leadership means focusing on the needs of the people, not the profits of corporations; and aiming for solutions & collaboration, not conflict.

  • Volunteer engagement & coordination

  • Access to a truck, van or other vehicle that can transport lawn signs. 


  • Providing excellent services for campaign supporters
  • Managing lawn sign request system including database quality control
  • Managing and detailed recording of supplies, ordering, and inventory
  • Identifying and implementing improvements to streamline logistics processes.
  • Coordination, recruitment, training, guidance and support for volunteers to carry out campaign tasks including lawn sign distribution and logistics.
  • Project evaluation and report preparation for campaign director
