The Grant Eligible Conservation Fund Part B: Research will be accepting applications from November 1 to November 30, 2012.

There are a couple of changes to the GECF for 2013-14:
- ACA does not fund applications in the GECF Granting Program, where the Federal or Provincial Government employee is the principal investigator / researcher (Principal Investigator is considered the lead on a project) or the principal investigator / researcher is a Federal or Provincial ministry. Federal or Provincial Government employees may be part of the project, but must not be responsible for the majority of the project.
- A maximum page limit of 14 pages has been introduced for Part B applications.
GECF Part A: Conservation Support and Enhancement applications (non-research applications) will be accepted from January 1 to 31, 2013.
