A quick note: announced at the beginning of 2013, the Alberta Ecotrust Grant Program has been both renewed and restored, with an emphasis on supporting and strengthening Alberta ENGOS. Our program priorities have expanded to include land use and energy initiatives, addressing the increasing desire for ecosystem-level management and urban sustainability. Focused criteria reflect the Alberta Ecotrust decision making process, and applicants can craft their proposals with an improved understanding of the strategic thinking of our Grant Review Committee. This includes looking at the potential for success and impact, strength of strategy, timing and/or urgency, and the capacity of the applicant to achieve the expected results.

If you have any questions or would like to chat about your project, please do not hesitate to call or email us. We offer 30 free minutes of coaching for all applicants, and we’ll even review a draft proposal if you email it to [email protected] by April 10!
