Stewards in Motion

November 27, 2014 - 4:30pm to 10:30pm

Transforming collaboration to advance local stewardship efforts

This interactive event gives participants the opportunity to actively learn, share, and engage in collaborative dialogue across sectors. Using the newly developed environmental stewardship framework, participants will:

  • Learn how stewardship and resource management principles can more effectively be incorporated into the land-use planning and development process
  • Identify and discuss local potential projects that would benefit from applying this approach, then develop a process for implementation
  • Share results, identify opportunities, needs and gaps in the region

Stewards in Motion is brought to you by Alberta Stewardship Network, a program of Land Stewardship Centre, in partnership with the Beaver River Watershed Alliance, Environmental Law Centre and Miistakis Institute.

Travel and registration subsidies are available for volunteer community stewards who attend the event. Email [email protected] for more information.
