RePower Alberta Green Jobs Presentation

On Thursday, May 20th, Greenpeace and Sierra Club Prairie are teaming up to bring a message of green jobs and a green collar economy to Fort Saskatchewan.

The Alberta tour entitled "Repower Alberta: It's time to build the green economy" will see a panel of presenters talking about the growing economic and community benefits of moving to a green economy and start laying the stepping stones for how to get there.

Speakers include:

  • Randall Benson, Journeyman electrician, and founder Off The Grid – Renewable Energy Power Systems
  • Brandy Burdeniuk, EcoAmmo is a graduate of the Industrial Design program at the University of Alberta and a LEED® Accredited professional.
  • Sheryle Carlson, Associate Director, Sierra Club of Canada Prairiie Chapter
  • Mike Hudema, Greenpeace Climate and Energy Campaigner
