May 22, 2019 - 12:00pm to 1:00pm

Tune in to learn about ABMI's new citizen science application, NatureLynx! Are you a nature enthusiast, naturalist, or someone who simply enjoys exploring the outdoors? Or, maybe you’re a scientist or industry member looking to collect, analyze, and compare your data? Designed to be adaptive, NatureLynx can be used to empower your efforts. Now available for free on Google Play and the App Store, NatureLynx has been designed to support the development of a biodiversity network in Alberta.

Join Jordan Bell —ABMI's Citizen Science Coordinator— as he introduces the ins and outs of the application while discussing the features specifically designed to support those looking to host their own citizen science projects on the app. Learn how to share your sightings on the Newsfeed, browse species profiles for common Albertan species, build your own groups and missions, and download data for your own analysis.
