Richard Louv’s book ‘Last Child in the Woods’ has helped open our eyes to the concept of Nature Deficit Disorder and its implications. Join Gareth Thomson, seasoned environmental educator, to find out how to help your children explore nature, using a complementary ‘tool kit.’ Please come prepared to spend time outdoors!

All programs meet at the Cross Conservation Area's Visitor Centre Belvedere House - 1 mile south of 22X on 160 street.

All proceeds from these programs support conservation education for children at the Cross Conservation Area.
