Climate change is the most important environmental issue of our time. In this short online presentation, we'll talk about how Albertans are already experiencing the effects of climate change, with time at the end to discuss solutions we can employ right now to address it.
Grace Brown is a renewable energy policy specialist on a mission to accelerate the clean energy transition. She has previously lived in the U.S., China, and Switzerland, and now calls Edmonton home. As a Climate Reality Leader, Grace received training from former U.S. Vice President Al Gore on communicating the urgency of our climate crisis. Grace has over five years' experience in the solar energy industry, and currently works for Sunrun, the largest residential solar provider in the U.S. Outside of work, Grace enjoys craft beer, gourmet cooking, and spending time in the great outdoors with her husband and dog.
Grace is also an active member of the Edmonton Climate Hub.
