In a conversation dominated by polarizing voices during a week of global discussion about climate change, Alberta Ecotrust invites industry, nonprofit and government leaders to explore new energy narratives that highlight both innovation and collaboration.
From Alberta Ecotrust:
Join energy journalist Markham Hislop (Energi.media) and a cross-sectoral panel of energy leaders in exploring how Canadians currently think and talk about energy, and how new energy narratives are a necessary component of the forward-thinking steps taken by the private and public sector in addressing the urgent challenges we face in reducing GHG emissions.
Hislop will start the day with a keynote address entitled Are We Having the Wrong Conversation About Energy in Canada? A panel discussion moderated by David Collyer, former President and CEO of CAPP and current Chair of Emissions Reduction Alberta will follow. Panelists include Sara Hastings-Simon, a Research Fellow at University of Calgary and Senior Fellow at Pembina Institute, Janet Annesley, Senior VP Corporate Affairs and Human Resources at Husky Energy and keynote speaker Markham Hislop.
Come together with other engaged Albertans and emerge with stories and ideas to share with your organization and your community.
