The Crowsnest Pass Bearsmart Association consists of local certified volunteers that help government staff reduce and manage human and bear interactions in the Crowsnest Pass area. John Clarke, District Fish and Wildlife Officer, and Christy Pool, President of CNPBA, will discuss the program, the community’s Monitoring Aversion Program and the Karelian Bear Dog Unit.
Koda, John’s Karelian Bear Dog, an important part of the team, will be in attendance.
