AEN Spring Meetings & AGM

You are invited to attend the 2015 Alberta Environmental Network Spring Meetings. The election of the first new provincial government in over 40 years presents an opportunity to shift the environmental conversation. This gathering is a great opportunity for ENGOs to get together, connect, and collaborate on strengthening the environmental movement in Alberta. The Annual General Meeting of the Alberta Environmental Network Society will be held in conjunction with the Spring Meetings.

  • Updates of current consultations with the provincial government, and other agencies.

Workshop — The Courage to Rewrite the Future

This interactive workshop will take you beyond your typical strategies for “getting by” and have you discover your paradigm of survival, at the organizational and personal level. The workshop will leave you able to rapidly see and change your hidden and automatic approach to innovation, collaboration, and leadership. It will leave you with a unique way to alter an otherwise predictable future.

Lunch,and coffee break refreshments will be provided. Donations will be accepted to help offset the cost of meals & refreshments (suggested donation $30 for the whole weekend).


Support for reasonable out-of-pocket travel expenses is available. Attendees are encouraged to use mass transit or carpool if possible.


The Network has reserved a limited number of guest rooms at the University of Alberta's Lister Conference Centre, which is a five-minute drive or a half-hour walk to the Ritchie Mill. Please indicate if you require accommodations when registering, and AEN will arrange a room for you (pending availability).
