Diversifying our energy economy will not only provide tens of thousands of green jobs for Albertans, but it has the opportunity to create just solutions to our province's contributions to global climate change and the resultant environmental impacts on the air, water, and land we depend on for our standard of living.

Red Deer Seedy Sunday is part of the worldwide Seedy Saturday / Sunday events that celebrate open-pollinated seeds. In Red Deer, the event is citizen-driven; coordinated with the support of Seeds of Diversity Canada, Spruce Lane Organic Farm, Kerry Wood Nature Centre, the Red Deer Garden Club, and the Growing Food Security in Red Deer project (members of ReThink Red Deer).
