Green Drinks is an informal event that brings together environmentally-minded Edmontonians in a relaxed, agenda-free evening of networking and merriment.

Whether you're a student, activist, business owner, or work in the environmental field, Green Drinks is a chance to mingle with a lively mixture of people from NGOs, academia, government and business, share information and make new friends.

Although this is an organic, casual event, many people have found employment, developed new ideas, made business connections, and had moments of serendipity. 

VVOA takes the traditional “Chili Cookoff” and has added its own twist - what other food would a vegan have eaten in the Wild West?

To enter the competition, bring your recipe, the dish (enough to feed six people), your own serving spoon, plate, bowl, cutlery and something to drink for yourself.

The North Saskatchewan Riverkeeper (NSRK) is proud to present the 1^st annual "Water in Focus" photo exhibition from 7 to 10 pm on Thursday April 26, 2012. The event will be hosted by NSRK Chairperson and President, Karen Percy Lowe. The Yellowhead Brewery's historic red brick building, located 10229-105 Street, in downtown Edmonton will be transformed into a gallery for an evening of photography, live beats, and local food and beer. Funds raised from this inaugural event will help support NSRK youth and community watershed stewardship education activities.
