Lunch-n-learn Webinars: Grantseeking for Water Groups

Building on the basics from our Fundraising 101 lunch n' learn, this session will examine some of the funding available for water groups and projects.  We will bring in water funders who will share their thoughts on what makes a proposal strong and fundable.  Q&A with the funders will follow.

Peace Watershed Planning and Advisory Council (WPAC) Formation Workshop

Alberta Environment is pleased to invite you to a workshop on the formation of a Peace River Watershed Planning and Advisory Council (WPAC) as described in Alberta’s Water for Life Strategy. The two-day workshop will take place in Peace River on October 28-29, 2010. This workshop is the initial step in the development process of a WPAC that will report on the state of the Peace Watershed, lead in watershed planning and stewardship, and make recommendations to decision makers within the basin.
