AEN Climate Caucus Spring Meeting

Apr 6 2019 - 9:00am to 2:00pm

Following Alberta Ecotrust’s annual Environmental Gathering (April 4 and 5 in Calgary), the AEN Climate Caucus will meet on April 6 to continue to galvanize strategic cooperation between our climate-active organizations. This event is for Albertans engaged in climate change activity who would like to strategize with others, including members of AEN's Climate Caucus and anybody interested in participating in the caucus.

The meeting will expand on the February and March calls and will be centred around:

  1. Marketplace of Ideas
Opportunities to present on current or prospective ideas for climate work in Alberta. Let’s learn from and support each other while seeking intersections between existing and future work. These will be rigorous discussions that will support, enrich and result in meaningful climate goals and strategies.

  2. Non-partisan pre-provincial election activity
Given the prospective scenarios, it's imperative that climate change be on the radar of citizens, political parties and candidates. What is our role and how do we make this happen? Continuing the discussion and actions from the February and March Climate Caucus calls.
