Music for the Wild — Jim McLennan with guests The June Bugs

Feb 27 2011 - 2:30am

AWA is proud to present Longview guitarist Jim McLennan. Jim is one of Alberta's finest finger-style guitarists and arrangers, specializing in coaxing piano and big band music out of his acoustic guitar. Jim recorded for Kicking Horse Records and was a fixture on the folk club and festival circuit in the 70's and 80's. In his “gap years,” Jim raised a family and authored several books about fly fishing. These days he can often be seen in a duo with his friend Steve Fisher.

See http://www.mclennanflyfishing.com/ for more information about Jim. Read more about Music for the Wild — Jim McLennan with guests The June Bugs
