Show your support for Bighorn Country

Deadline:
31 Jan 2019

From CPAWS Northern Alberta:

On Nov 23, the Government of Alberta announced its intention to create a series of protected areas collectively called Bighorn Country. The public consultation period is now open until January 31.

The Government of Alberta needs to follow through on their proposal to create Bighorn Country to protect sensitive wilderness and wildlife and to ensure Edmonton's, and many other communities’, water is clean and secure for ourselves and future generations! These protected areas would preclude new industrial development while allowing activities like hiking, camping, huntingfishing, and biking.

Show your support for the Government’s proposal by sending a letter using the linked template AND filling out the Government’s online survey using CPAWS' handy comment guide.

We encourage you to adjust our template to make it personal, or write your own letter for more impact!
