The Bighorn Backcountry needs you right now!

Albertans live in one of the most beautiful places on Earth and we love to get out there to enjoy it. That’s worth protecting. Take a minute to help protect the nature you love before we miss our chance!

A new Bighorn Wildland park will give everyday Albertans an incredible place to hike, bike, hunt, and more, while protecting its natural wilderness for generations to come. But it can’t happen without you showing how much you care.

Pledge your support for the Bighorn Wildland Park

The proposed Bighorn Wildland Park represents 6,800 km2 of relatively undisturbed land in Clearwater County. It contains critical habitat for vulnerable species including grizzly bears, bighorn sheep, and bull trout, and is the headwaters for the North Saskatchewan River—an essential source of drinking water for over a million Albertans.

Designating this area as a wildland park would protect a sensitive ecosystem and preserve recreation opportunities for all Albertans to enjoy.

Join thousands of Albertans in supporting the creation of a new Wildland Provincial Park!
