AWA Talk — Tracking the Golden Eagle

This spring will mark 20 years of golden eagle migration monitoring. Peter will give a fascinating talk about the trends and patterns that have emerged over that time. He will also give an update on some recent DNA work that has been done on golden eagles: how closely related are the eagles that migrate up and down the Rocky Mountains every year to the resident birds that stay put all year round?
