Background
See the attached document “CASA’s Potential: Clean Air Strategy and the Current Context”.
The working group is expected to meet monthly through the December 2016 CASA Board Meeting. A minimum of one additional day’s work between meetings is anticipated. Additional teleconferences and sub-groups may be required as the group sees fit.
Honoraria and reimbursement of travel expenses are available in accordance with the CASA Stakeholder Support Policy.
Working Group members should ideally possess the following attributes:
- Strong knowledge and expertise in air quality and climate change policy, and an interest in the interface between the two;
- Record of effective participation in CASA Project Teams, or other consensus-based multi- stakeholder processes;
- Current or past experience serving on the CASA Board is considered an asset;
- Support and endorsement of an environmental non-governmental organization active in Alberta with a demonstrated commitment to the environmental stewardship and promotion of air quality improvement;
- Willingness and ability to effectively communicate the work of the Working Group with the AEN Clean Air & Energy Caucus via periodic meetings, conference calls, and written briefs.

- A brief description of the applicant’s background and abilities, particularly those relevant to the selection criteria
